Therapeutic Massage

Corporate Chair Massage

  A short (10-30 minute) on-site therapeutic session where clients remain fully clothed and within their own personal setting. This helps target high-tension areas like neck, shoulders, back and arms. This technique relieves muscle and joint pain, promotes reduction of workplace stress while also improving morale.

Prenatal & Postpartum

  This massage technique specializes in therapeutic bodywork tailored and designed to support women through pregnancy and after childbirth. It alleviates pain, reduces stress, improves circulation and manages swelling. Prenatal massage focuses on comfort and safe positioning of the fetus, while postpartum massage aids in physical recovery and hormone regulation.

Cupping Treatment

  This is an added treatment focusing on specific areas. Cupping is performed by carefully applying plastic suction cups to the affected area by lifting the tissue. The sensation may be initially slightly uncomfortable but never unbearable. It promotes enhanced blood flow, reducing muscle tension and alleviating chronic pain. Cupping can leave circular, non-painful discoloration caused by vacuum suction breaking tiny capillaries, typically lasting a few days up to 2 weeks.

Scraping

Scraping is an added treatment focusing on specific areas of the body. Also known as “Graston Technique,” it helps to break up adhesion and scar tissue within the fascia which allows for increased blood flow, oxygenation and nutrient exchange within the affected area. This technique speeds up healing and promotes tissue regeneration. Scraping can leave marks called petechiae, which some may mistake for a rash, but rather it indicates broken blood vessels which signifies improved blood circulation, reduced stagnation and the release of metabolic waste lasting 2-7 days.
